PLAYWRIGHT MARIANI ’90 SHARES TIPS, ADVICE WITH STUDENTS

"Though it has been nearly three decades since Anthony L. Mariani stood on the stage of the University of the Ozarks’ Seay Theatre, he felt right at home.
Mariani, a 1990 Ozarks theatre graduate who has gone on to an accomplished career as a playwright, screenwriter and film and stage director, returned to campus on Feb. 7 to put on a workshop for communication and theatre students on the Seay stage."

THE MORNING CHAIR has won the 2019 Southwest Theatre Productions Playwriting Completion. The play will receive a workshop under the direction of Kat Sparks. For Development for a future production. THE MORNING CHAIR Chris Flower is removed as the co-anchor of a network morning show just before going on air. Sabastian the show’s producer has to hold internal office investigation trying to find out the truth about the accusations. IS  COMMING TO LITTLE ROCK -
AUG 30,31 SEPT 1, 6, 7. 8th. 
Excited to accounce that a production of my Brexit Play - The Rooster Rebellion will have a two week run in Little Rock, Arkansas at The Weekend Theater. The Rooster Rebellion is the story of Reese Anne, a London teenager, runs away from home to help her now a homeless Ex-History teacher, Shell. They busk by day in front of the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. At night, they live in ghost station, an underground abandoned tube station, where she tries to create a utopia homeless society, which falls apart on the eve of the Brexit vote.
